The Rev. Dr. Bradley Pace became rector of St. John’s in the summer of 2010.  He is married to Katie Elder, and they have three children, Isaiah, Miriam, and Judah.  Fr. Bradley received his B.A. from Berea College (Berea, KY); an M.A. from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville; and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  He was ordained to the priesthood in 2008 after attending Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois.  Prior to coming to St. John’s, Fr. Bradley served as Associate Priest for Youth and Family Ministry at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton, Illinois.
Fr. Bradley believes that Christian faith must be engaged with the world.  He is most proud of the way St. John’s lives out its faith in the community-serving the needs of people in Youngstown and throughout the Valley.  Along with his work at and through St. John’s, Fr. Bradley serves on a number of boards and committees throughout the Valley, including work with Episcopal Community Services, Help Hotline Crisis Center, Inc., the Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative, and Wick Neighbor’s, Inc.  Fr. Bradley is also passionate about teaching.  He currently serves as an adjunct professor in Philosophy and Religious Studies at Youngstown State University.  His course, Religion and Moral Issues, focuses on the intersection of religion and violence in the three great Abrahamic faiths, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
